New Year, New Use: Upcycled Wall Calendar
Time to swap out that cute designer calendar you bought last year with another one you won’t write anything on because it looks too nice. Maybe that’s just me…
Anywho. No need to waste that beautiful paper and imagery from your old calendar. Simply gather a few basic supplies and you can quickly upcycle your old goods into gift enclosure cards for virtually no cost.
Supplies
Last year’s calendar (Mine was Jonathan Adler)
8.5” x 11” cardstock
Paper cutter
Rubber cement
Gift enclosure envelopes (I had some leftovers laying around that had lost their mate)
Cut out the small month images from the back of the calendar.  Use a paper cutter so the edges are nice and crisp.
Fold a piece of cardstock in half lengthwise.
Glue one of the images to the cardstock.  Center it so that the edges are even.
Cut and repeat!
I ended up with 12 adorable cards, that would have cost me at least $2/ piece in store. And, I still have the full page monthly images from the inside of the calendar I can frame up and use as home decor!
Winning.
