For the first look of “What I Wore Today” I drew from so many different places and created this ensemble. First and foremost, the full length picture in which my face looks awkwardly smug-ish or whatever you can come up with, was a picture taken by my sister after trying to take a decent picture for 15 minutes, so you’ll have to excuse the (what I think is, but my family says otherwise-I’ll let you be the judge) awkwardly weird face!
Anyways, getting back on track- I really have a thing for rustic elements! I also, if you haven’t read my “This Can’t Be Happening at Macdonald Hall” post, you probably don’t know how much I love EVERYTHING about that series.
Every Christmas break, I always read the entire Bruno and Boots series cover to cover…every book!
I take it that most people know of Algonquin Park, anyways I have always pictured the Macdonald Hall series set around that area. Algonquin Park is definitely very rustic, to me. So with one of my most favourite book series and my adoration of rustic-ness I put together this outfit.
This wonderfully rustic lumberjack shirt was perfect for my first day back to Guelph! I paired it with super skinny dark washed jeans and the green bag for a polished look. Along with some comfortable but trendy penny loafers, I added the accent nails for a touch of effortless glamour.
Weather Today: between -1 and +3 (Celsius), Sunny and a light wind chill! (I did bring a jacket along so my jaw wouldn’t end up in a Halloween store :P )
Shirt- $10.00 (on sale!) Garage, Super Skinny Jeans- $38.00 Garage, Penny Loafers- $22.00 (on clearance!) Aldo, Bag- $19.00 (on clearance!) Aldo
